A gel cleanser that is 41% glycerin — a number worth pausing on, because it's where most of the formula went. Glycerin at that level changes what a cleanser does. Instead of removing and then leaving you to repair, it washes and humectants at the same time, so the tight, squeaky feeling never arrives. The surfactants are amino-acid based (sodium cocoyl glycinate, sodium lauroyl glutamate) rather than sulfates, which is why it stays mild despite being a proper gel wash. The supporting cast is unusually generous for a cleanser: ceramide NP, cholesterol, hyaluronic acid in three molecular weights, panthenol and gluconolactone. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, sulfate-free, silicone-free.
