Picks Points Policy

This Picks Points Policy explains how creators can earn, use, and manage Picks Points on ThePicks.

Picks Points are part of ThePicks creator reward program. By earning or using Picks Points, you agree to this policy and the ThePicks Terms of Service.

1. What are Picks Points?

Picks Points are rewards that creators can earn by completing meaningful creator actions on ThePicks.

These actions may include opening a storefront, adding products, making eligible sales, inviting other creators, or completing other creator missions provided by ThePicks.

Picks Points are designed to help active creators grow on ThePicks.

2. Picks Points are not cash

Picks Points are not cash, electronic money, gift cards, prepaid value, or a payment method outside ThePicks.

Picks Points:

  • Can only be used on ThePicks
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot be transferred to another account
  • Cannot be sold, traded, or shared
  • Cannot be withdrawn
  • Have no monetary value outside ThePicks

3. Who can earn Picks Points?

Picks Points are available to approved creators or users who are eligible for creator rewards on ThePicks.

Guest users, logged-out users, and users who are not eligible for creator rewards may not be able to earn or use Picks Points.

ThePicks may limit access to Picks Points based on account status, creator status, policy violations, or service availability.

4. How to earn Picks Points

Creators may earn Picks Points by completing creator missions or reward actions provided by ThePicks.

Examples of eligible actions may include:

Point amounts, eligible actions, and reward conditions may change based on ThePicks policies.

Some missions may require review before points are added to your account.

5. Actions that do not earn Picks Points

Picks Points are intended to reward meaningful creator actions.

The following actions do not earn Picks Points unless ThePicks specifically states otherwise:

  • Creating an account
  • Simply logging in
  • Simply visiting a page
  • Simply increasing page views
  • Connecting a social account without completing an eligible mission
  • Adding incomplete or unavailable products
  • Repeating the same one-time mission
  • Any action that ThePicks determines to be invalid, misleading, or abusive

6. When Picks Points are added

Picks Points are added when the required mission conditions are met and confirmed by ThePicks.

Some points may be added immediately. Others may be added after review, purchase confirmation, settlement eligibility, or other verification steps.

For sales-related points, points may be added only after the order becomes eligible. Canceled, refunded, fraudulent, or invalid orders may not qualify for points.

7. One-time missions and duplicate rewards

Some missions can only be completed once per creator account.

For example, points for opening a storefront, adding 3 products, adding 10 products, completing My Specialty, or making a first sale may be provided only once.

If you delete products and add them again, close and reopen a storefront, or repeat the same action, you may not receive the same one-time reward again.

ThePicks may use account, device, payment, IP, social account, and activity information to prevent duplicate or improper rewards.

8. How to use Picks Points

Creators can use Picks Points for rewards provided by ThePicks.

Available rewards may include:

  • Commission Boost
  • Exposure Boost
  • Other creator rewards that may be added later

Rewards may have limited availability, review requirements, usage limits, or eligibility conditions.

9. Commission Boost

Commission Boost is a reward that may temporarily increase a creator’s commission rate on eligible sales.

Commission Boost applies only to eligible sales. Canceled, refunded, fraudulent, or invalid orders may be excluded.

Commission Boost rates, required points, and active periods may change based on ThePicks policies.

10. Exposure Boost

Exposure Boost is a reward that may give a creator’s storefront or content more visibility in selected areas of ThePicks.

Exposure Boost does not guarantee clicks, orders, sales, revenue, ranking, or fixed placement.

ThePicks may decide where and how boosted content is displayed based on service quality, user experience, and availability.

11. Referral Rewards

Creators may earn referral rewards by inviting other creators to ThePicks.

Referral rewards may be provided when the invited creator completes eligible actions.

Example referral rewards:

Referral rewards apply only to direct referrals. Multi-level referral rewards are not supported.

A referral relationship is generally set when the invited creator signs up through a valid referral link or code. The referral relationship may not be changed after sign-up.

ThePicks may withhold or cancel referral rewards if the referral is invalid, fraudulent, self-referred, or abusive.

12. Referral Commission Bonus

ThePicks may provide a Referral Commission Bonus when a referred creator becomes active and generates eligible sales.

A Referral Commission Bonus may be calculated based on the referred creator’s eligible commission amount for a limited time.

Referral Commission Bonus:

  • Applies only to direct referrals
  • Does not reduce the referred creator’s own commission
  • May be paid from ThePicks platform fee
  • May exclude temporary commission boosts or additional bonus amounts
  • May be limited by time, eligibility, account status, or policy conditions

The exact bonus rate, period, and payment conditions may change based on ThePicks policies or creator program terms.

13. Point expiration

Picks Points may expire based on ThePicks policies.

If expiration applies, points may expire after a certain period from the date they are earned.

ThePicks may notify users before points expire through email, app notification, service notice, or point history.

Expired points generally cannot be restored.

During MVP, beta, or early operation periods, ThePicks may choose not to apply point expiration.

14. Point cancellation, adjustment, and reversal

Picks Points may be canceled, adjusted, or removed in the following cases:

  • An order is canceled
  • An order is refunded
  • A sale is found to be invalid
  • Points were added by mistake
  • Points were added due to a system error
  • A mission was completed through misleading or invalid activity
  • A user violates ThePicks policies
  • A user abuses the reward system

If points have already been used, ThePicks may adjust future points, rewards, commissions, or benefits as needed.

15. Misuse and abuse prevention

ThePicks may restrict, cancel, or remove Picks Points if misuse or abuse is suspected.

Examples of misuse include:

  • Self-referrals
  • Duplicate accounts
  • Fake or misleading creator accounts
  • Repeated use of the same device, IP, payment method, or social account to receive duplicate rewards
  • Fake sales
  • Repeated canceled or refunded orders
  • Adding products only to earn points without meaningful storefront activity
  • Creating fake traffic, fake reviews, or fake activity
  • Using system errors to receive rewards
  • Any activity that ThePicks determines to be abusive or harmful to the service

If misuse is confirmed or reasonably suspected, ThePicks may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Hold points
  • Remove points
  • Cancel rewards
  • Restrict reward usage
  • Hold commissions or bonuses
  • Restrict account features
  • Suspend or terminate the account
  • Take other actions permitted under ThePicks Terms of Service

16. Account closure or loss of creator status

If you close your account, lose creator status, or your account is suspended or terminated, unused Picks Points may expire or be removed.

If your account is terminated due to policy violations or misuse, unused Picks Points, active rewards, referral rewards, or bonuses may not be restored or paid.

ThePicks may keep certain records as needed for legal compliance, dispute handling, settlement, fraud prevention, or service security.

17. Reward availability

Picks Points rewards may not always be available.

Some rewards may have:

  • Limited availability
  • Review requirements
  • Usage limits
  • Eligibility conditions
  • Expiration periods
  • Account status requirements
  • Creator status requirements

ThePicks may add, change, pause, or remove rewards based on service operation, business needs, or policy changes.

18. Policy changes

ThePicks may update this Picks Points Policy from time to time.

Changes may include updates to:

  • Point earning actions
  • Point amounts
  • Reward types
  • Required points
  • Reward periods
  • Referral reward conditions
  • Expiration rules
  • Abuse prevention rules
  • Eligibility requirements

If we make material changes, we will notify users through the service, email, app notification, or other appropriate methods.

By continuing to use Picks Points after the updated policy becomes effective, you agree to the updated policy.
