Centella asiatica leaf water is the second ingredient, declared at 100,000 ppm — which is 10% of the formula, and the reason this reads as a genuine cica product rather than one with cica in the name. On top of the leaf water sits the isolated cica trio: asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid, the three active triterpenes that do the soothing work, plus centella extract itself. Niacinamide is sixth; panthenol and allantoin fill out the calming side. Texture: cool, thin, absorbs immediately. Sits under sunscreen and makeup without pilling.
